Turas Immigration has a new free calculator for the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). The Manitoba PNP Skilled Worker Overseas points calculator estimates your score on the pathway’s 100-point grid and tells you whether you reach the minimum of 60.
It joins our calculators for Ontario (OINP), British Columbia (BC PNP), Express Entry (CRS) and the Federal Skilled Worker 67-point grid. All of them are listed on the scoring calculators page, in English and Portuguese.
What the calculator scores
Skilled Worker Overseas scores five factors. The calculator uses the point values Manitoba publishes for each one:
| Factor | Maximum points | What it looks at |
|---|---|---|
| Language proficiency | 25 | Your CLB / NCLC level in your first official language, plus 5 points for CLB / NCLC 5 or higher in the second |
| Age | 10 | The full 10 points from 21 to 45, fewer from 18 to 20 and from 46 to 49 |
| Work experience | 15 | Years of full-time work in the past five years |
| Education | 25 | Your highest completed post-secondary program or trade certificate |
| Adaptability | 25 | Your connection to Manitoba, plus 5 points for settling in a region outside Winnipeg |
Below the calculator, the page shows every point value for each factor, with a link to Manitoba’s official eligibility page.
More than a total
Reaching 60 points is not the only requirement, so the calculator also checks two conditions that rule out an application whatever the score:
- A connection to Manitoba. Only one connection counts: a close relative, previous work or completed studies in Manitoba, a friend or distant relative living there, or an Invitation to Apply from an MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative. With no connection, the calculator tells you that you are not eligible.
- The language minimum for TEER 4 and 5 occupations. These occupations need at least CLB / NCLC 4. If yours is one of them and your level is lower, the result says so.
The result shows your points for each factor and how far you are above or below 60. The page also lists the groups that Manitoba does not accept applications from, such as people with an active application in another provincial or federal program.
What the result means
The calculator is an estimate based on your answers. It does not submit anything to Manitoba, and reaching 60 points does not guarantee an invitation, a nomination or permanent residence. When you apply, Manitoba expects documents that prove every factor you claimed.
